Last Saturday I gave a presentation at the Oklahoma Americans United for the Separation of Church and State conference on Intelligent Design in public school science classrooms. Unfortunately it was at 8 am the Saturday after a block of tests, but I think I did alright ;) Fortunately for you all, Damien, a member of Oklahoma Atheists, recorded the presentations and put them up on Google Video!
Yeah, so, the only weird part? You know at the very end, when a guy speaks up and makes a joke about Jesus? Yeah, that was PZ. The PZ. I didnt notice him until he said something because I wasnt exactly expecting to see him in OKLAHOMA (why I doubled over in embarrassment when he spoke up). He didnt RSVP, or if he did, it was under an alternate surname (not 'PZ'), or else we would have made him speak too!!
Im really starting to think PZ does have a gatecrashing problem...

Are you planning to post the presentation itself? I would especially like to see the human-primate tree with erv evidence diagram.
Oh my, I don't mind PZ being the misbehaving type, but poking Xians in the eyes with Jesus jokes just isn't the way to keep the science in science class.
He'll do best if he doesn't start feeling a bit too important, let alone invulnerable.

Good presentation, by the way. My preference, especially in that venue, would not be to juxtapose evolution to religion, though.
It's pretty clear that the guy complaining that they're not going to stop with gutting science is correct, since Expelled is already trying to change history and our understanding of social causation in their movie (what they're really thinking is that evolution is evil, hence it is the source of modern evils). It makes sense, because you can't really be against evidence just in the matter of science, without that opposition to the use of evidence spilling over into every discipline, including our evidence-based justice system.

Oh yeah, I guess my #5 shows some suckery, but I would still say Jesus jokes aren't really the way to go.
Anyhow, I thought the BBC (if it's them) did a nice April 1 revelation of penguins that have evolved flight.

You are right to question. PZ is forbidden by restraining order from entering the state of Oklahoma due to an insufficient degree of inbreeding.
Some clips from that presentation are sure to end up in Expelled 2: Inteligent Boogaloo, with Ben Stein ranting about how you're advocating the extermination of creationists.

hmmmm I'm a Louisianian and used to drawl, but several years of talking about Cystatin B in front of scientific audiences I lost it. I enjoyed listening to you talk about science (er, and politics) with a nice subtle drawl :)
