Sally Kern: Hate filled bitch for Jesus

You know that bill I wrote about yesterday? Its part of a slew of radical Christian bills that Representative Sally Kern is trying to get through OK legislature. Who is this woman?

A hate filled, backwards bitch.

Listen to this.

Listen to all of it.

Fuck you, Kern. And fuck all of you 'Christians' that let this shit spread in the name of your god.

Edit-- Some people have better humor about this than I.

Edit again-- OH MY FUCKING GOD WHAT A FUCKING BITCH:

In an exclusive interview with News9.com Kern (R-Oklahoma City) admits it is her voice on the recording and stands by her comments. She said she's just stating the facts on what she believes.
...
"Shame on the person who didn't have the courage to come and say, 'I'm going to tape you and put it out on YouTube,'" she said.

Seriously, mockery and ridicule is the way to deal with people like this.

She's just a waste of redneck cum, is all.

Oh, give her a break. She's probably just worried that the evil gays will seduce and corrupt her husband (we know that those Baptist pastors seem to be especially vulnerable to gay advances).

What an incredibly sick, nasty bitch! I don't usually like using the C word, but this bitch deserves it! To boot, she looks like a an ugly fucking Cabbage Patch doll that was shoved up Strom Thurmond's bigotted asshole for a few years!

I would seriously appreciate it if you guys could keep people like that from traveling north.

They reach Canada, and we may have to legalize euthanasia.

Do these people not see their own hate?

I have no problem with her saying whatever idiocies she pleases to people who wish to hear them.
What I cannot understand is how this kind of opinion still has enough appeal to get her elected. She is one harmless idiot. The real threat is her constituency.

Would it be possible to recreate the Clockwork Orange scene, only force her to watch The Rocky Horror Picture show back-to-back for a week? That should take care of it.

What people like Sally Kern cannot understand is this, it is parents who believe like she does that makes life hellish for those children who are GLBT. Too many young people have killed themselves off because they were rejected by their families and fell into despair. Too many young GLBT end up on the streets (And the shortened life expectancy that comes with street life.) because their parents kicked them out.

Of course, in her little tirade, there is no talk about how GLBT people destroy society. But, like most homophobes, she seems to be implying that being exposed to the idea of homosexuality makes people gay. Otherwise, why does she see it as a threat? Oh, yeah, right, the idea of homosexuality makes the invincible big sky daddy ill to the core.

What? She was too afraid to be this clear about her beliefs to the general public? Maybe she knows that if she kept things vague, she could deny she thought this way.

Shame on Sally Kern for not being truthful about herself.

I don't know that I accept the notion that "good" Christians passively let this kind of thing happen. Yes, that's the story we always hear, but I just don't buy it. Who else but the "good" Christians voted for this pernicious reptile? It's so easy to sigh, and publicly shake their heads at the excess of these fundie troglodytes, and then quietly vote them in to office or pony up private donations for their venomous campaigns. Someone is providing a lot of closet support for this vile sociopathy, and I don't really think it's the evil pink menace.

This bitch (I'd use a stonger word here that starts with a letter coming after B... but )is totally SHOCKED that she's being criticized for expressing her opinion and exercising her first amendment rights.

Yes, please, it is your right to say whatever vile lying bullshit is ping ponging off the interior walls of that mostly empty cranium but that does not come at the expense of my right to call you a Cunt (oops) for doing so.

Christian persecution complex in action.

She's also the person that pushed through the OK bill to in effect censor (via being restricted) any books in librarys that are deemed tolerant to homosexuals.

Reynold said...

No offense, but why is everyone so surprised? Among the religious right, this kind of parnoid thinking is pretty much par for the course. If you don't believe me, check out guys like John Hagee, or Jack Chick, espicially when they talk about homosexuality.

Whenever the members of the religious right talk about gays, it's always with that paranoid "they're out to indoctrinate our children" crap.

Ever hear of James Dobson, Don Wildmon, etc?

Funny you would mention this. Abbie seems to have a similar sentiment.
People, LGBT, feeling displaced and persecuted for their beliefs/attitudes/actions... turn inward. Possibly suffer from depression and possibly attempt suicide.

Persecution for beliefs/attitudes/actions. That is indeed a shame.
But odd that I find many of you crying foul. The most of you seem pretty much all about persecuting others for their beliefs/attitudes/actions.
Why you would arbitrarily deem one set as being wrong and other as being permissible is vexing.

But, I really shouldn't expect consistency from a group of like-minded folk who echo comments such as this gem:

Seriously, mockery and ridicule is the way to deal with people like this.

She's just a waste of redneck cum, is all.

Abbie, your posters are priceless. They also react alot like you.
But this kid is something else. Talking about 'sick' and 'nasty' and then says..... well, you can read it for yourself.

Gem after gem.

I don't know, Gary. Do you see your own hate? Might be a good place to start for you. You're talking about euthanasia if people like this make it to your country and the next breath wondering if those people see their hate.
Nice.

Tim, please tell me that you aren't equating religious belief with homosexuality? If you are, perhaps you would care to tell me at which point you decided to become heterosexual (if that is indeed what you are)?

And you could at least attempt to understand the difference between the criticism of beliefs, ideas and actions, as opposed to race, gender and sexuality. I'm slightly concerned that you really don't seem to understand that very crucial difference.

If you beg to differ, which is of course your right, please point to the biological evidence that conclusively shows that there is a difference between homo/heterosexuality.

That is the crux of this issue.

I do sympathize with you, however, given that 80% of the US population are homosexual and they have a terrible record of persecuting the small number of Christians, all due to something that was written in the homo-biblios over 2000 years ago.

I feel for you, Tim, I really do.

Janine said...

Tim, you silly little git. I am old enough to be Abbie's parent. I held those opinions long before she could form an opinion. And a lot of what I stated is based on my experience working with different GLBT groups over the years and listening to the stories.

And, yes, I have nothing but hatred for parents for turning away their children if they turn out to be homosexuals.

Tyler DiPietro said...

"The most of you seem pretty much all about persecuting others for their beliefs/attitudes/actions."

So when did you stop beating your wife, Tim?

Tyler DiPietro said...

I also have to mention that I love the false moral equivalence Timmeh is trying to erect between justified hatred of one particularly odious individual and unjustified hatred toward an entire group of people. It kind of reminds me of old school communists who try to erect a moral equivalence between our unusually high prison population and the Soviet gulag. I generally find that those who wish to compare the problematic (at worst) to the evil have a desire to excuse and defend the evil more than anything.

OHHHHH Yaaaaaaaaaaawn.

Criticisng a group of people for choosing to hold beliefs that cause them to act in ways that reinforce ignorance and intolerance vs. attacking a group of people for who they choose to love are even on the same planet.

Claiming they are shows what a myopic flat brained twit you are.

How DARE this woman call herself a Christian when she has power over men as a lawmaker & teacher.

1 Timothy 2:12
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

Shame on you!
It is clear that you will burn in Hell for eternity for your blasphemy.

It should be noted she accepts the kill gay bible verse but ignores many others such as: 1 Timothy 2:12 "I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent."

Or Leviticus 15:18-20
Or 1 Corinthians 14:35
And remember the bible says kill rape victims that don't cry out. Deuteronomy 22:23-24

So lets kill gays & rape victims and fire woman teachers and of course no woman legislators.

Stupid bitch.

Economist Ben Friedman says that higher rates of G.D.P. growth are associated with increased levels of social tolerance. People like Sally Kern will weaken us if allowed to continue unchecked, much like the fascists destroyed Germany. She must step down.
My question for her is: WHAT do you propose DOING with GAY people? Taking away their jobs? That's the first step of destroying their civil rights. Then what's next, their right to own property? Own pets? Her holocaust is under way.

A bigot spreading her bigotry. "According to gods word?" What she means is according to an arcaic and outdated book that she claims is the word of god. What studies is she refering too? Her god really cares what people do with their genitals? More than mass murder, more than disease, more than natural disasters? What an ignorant bitch.

The best response to Kern is the one that is now circulating the net from the highschool senior whose mother was killed by Timothy McVeigh.

I'm too lazy to do the html link, but I know Ed Brayton has it linked at his Dispatches from the Culture Wars blog.

Also, the SPLC's Hatewatch blog has a post up about Kern detailing the source of her claims, one of which is probably the virulently anti-homosexual liar Paul Cameron.

I understand everyone's frustration with this woman but if you read that highschool senior's letter you will see that his response is far superior to simply lashing out at Kern with profanity.

Full disclosure. The video piece in question was put out by "Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund", who, according to their own "about us" web page:

"The Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund is the nation’s largest LGBT political action committee and the only national organization dedicated to increasing the number of openly [lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT)] elected officials at all levels of government."

Presumedly, this includes elected school boards. So, aside from the "worse threat than terrorism" comment which is just silly, what, exactly, is so wrong with what Sally Kern stated? (Incidentally, the GLVF recording sounds as though it were spliced in several spots.)

Certainly, you'd blog against it if you discovered that the Discovery Institute formed a PAC to fund the elections of ID friendlies to school boards.

Shorter William Wallace: Aside from the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" level conspiracism and dehumanizing comparisons to terrorists....what's wrong with what she said?

PZ Myers has more on this:

Remember Sally Kern, the Oklahoma legislator caught on tape babbling about the gay conspiracy? It's worse than it sounded: it seems Kern has a gay son who she has essentially deleted from her public life.

And these are the people who claim ownership of the word "family"…

Wasn't there some other republican anti-gay person who had a gay son?

Reynold said...

Whoops. It may be that her son is not gay?
